How the bloody hell do you get an avatar?

Ive gone on edit profile and added a picture, but every image seems to be too big, and by alot.

Help much appreciated, cos' im so confused

the avatar limit i think is 14kb so anything over that will not upload,im a total tard at uploading shyte but even i managed to do a avatar,i googled animated avatars then simply added those i liked to my desk top

Mr problem is not how to do an avatar but how to resize pictures - hence no avatar.

The avatar im using wilst not very hip is 7.4 kb there are shitloads to choose from

Same, but I know how to re-size them (go onto my pictures, then fix and crop) but when you get it the correct size there tiny!

Im sure when sombody pops in who knows how to use thier pc they will no doubt list the instructions and hopefully another list on how to upload pics n vids as i havnt worked that bugger out yet

Click 'User CP', then click 'Edit Avatar'. The picture must be 120 by 120 pixels or 14.6 KB (whichever is smaller}. As long as it doesn't exceed the above sizes then you can either use an image from another website or from your own computer.

Yours does look a bit shite still, did you do it in paint?

Go to this website ImageShack - Image Hosting find the image on your pc, tick re size image and in the drop down box select 'avatar'

That will give you good quality

Must not be bigger than 120 x 120 as well.
In 'user CP'; 'Edit Avatar' click on the Browse button to find the picture on your computer; click once on the picture; then click 'open'. Click 'Save Changes' and it should be there.

i did everything u said bud but it never changed my pic,did i have to tick upload or image initially.
