I hope Dean Wilkins bans the players from this site for the forseeable future!

All the negative comments on here are gonna have a further negative effect on the team.

YES i agree we didn't play at all well today but what good is all the bitching going to do?

Big game Tuesday! Probably the make or break game for the playoffs and if i was a player i would be fu**ing fuming after reading some of the utter crap that has been posted on here today!!

Listening to Whing and DW on the phone in they don't need anyone on here to tell them how shit their performance was. Dw sounded shell shocked and Whing made no excuses whatsoever. Just one of those days and if you're honest with yourself didn't you always think it was a real possibilty that they'd struggle to raise their game today having had two storming games in real stadiums If not, you obviously haven't been following the Albion for long.

I shouldn,t worry. If Thomsons intelligence, matches his skill and courage on the football pitch, he wont even have the ability to switch a computer on,...never mind working his way onto to NSC.

We would have beaten vale if they actually played crap, they didn't and fair play to them.

Tuesday will be a VERY important game, moreso as my housemate (Hockley Blues) will gloat all the drive home otherwise

I don't think it was the defeat Easy, but more the manner of it.
I for one think Wilkins should take as much blame as the players, due to his not changing his formation. He changed the players but kept the diamond, when we were crying out for some width in my opinion.

Agreed we really did lack the width and Murray plays better 4-4-2

If some of the players read the threads it might make them embarassed enough to make a donation to charity as a way of saying sorry. A win on Tuesday against Sarfend puts us back in there with a chance. Anything less and the season is over. The team needs to go out on Tuesday night with the thought that they are all playing for their futures not just those whose contracts finish in June and are seeking a renewal.

This site is for people to post opinions for the ten years I've been on it - so I can't see the bitching and moaning slowing now after a frankly rubbish performance like that was.

And yes, Dean Wilkins DOES suggest that players not get embroiled in the commentary on here - but like was said above, he can't stop them from it.

Fact is, it was his job to instill a sense of urgency into the players regarding this game, and I knew that he made them 'aware' of the angles before today.
That they did NOT manifest any urgency about it from the kick-off is a mystery he alone will have to take up with the squad. They looked far from urgent, closer to lackadaisical in reality.
