Newbury, Berkshire.
Wood wears 39 but we don`t have 28 subs on the bench

Definitely a JCL !

Over easter the club shop sent me an e-mail saying this years away shirts were on special promotion due to being champions, yeah right, if your a size 5XL, cos every other size is out of stock.

What is the point of putting something on a special promotion when you don't actually have any to sell ...........

Jesus! How much would you reckon a match worn shirt from the Hereford game would be worth?

£400 for a REPLICA would be madness, you div.

Easy there little man, read the eBay listing - "I'm guessing this was a player-issue shirt (I may be wrong though?)"

It's £400+ for a supposedly player-issue shirt, even if it was a player-issued shirt, at £400 it's still madness

I bet you'd pay that though, you f***ing cock holster

In a pile of football shirts
The Hereford game was special (beyond doubt) and if it could be proved that it was worn in that game then I'd expect it to make £400-£500. Trouble with the Hereford game is that it was too 'recent'. Many matchworn shirts from that era are out there, I have 2 of them, no idea what games they were worn, or by whom. That said, Reinaults should be on the wall in the museum at Falmer, I dare say the historians would be prepared to pay top money to secure that, as they did with Wardys shirt.

All IMHO of course.

The older shirts, like these Adidas ones, were made in far fewer numbers (both players and replicas) so they are able to fetch much higher sums, due to the rarity factor. It's like any collectible items, the fewer there were of them made, the higher the value.

You're confusing me with somebody else sunshine. I've never bought a football shirt in my life.
