Ahhhh, so he's a HUSTLER.
He plays up to the "country bumpkin fucktard" act, when actually there lies within his cranium a mind and wit so sharp you could cut your finger on it.

A dangerous adversary indeed....

Dunno what's in the Baker cranium but I do know - and obviously not JUST from this encounter - that he 'aint as daft as he might choose to appear!

Dangerous, however, isn't high on the list of adjectives I'd use.

Obstinate
Blinkered
Balding
Ugly
Sexually inadequate

Would you care to expand on this... Not physically, obviously. I mean, that would be ridiculous. I've already done that in life, and it's large and stuff. What I mean is, what do you mean by your above statement?

I don't often agree with your posts TFH, but i have to say that this was a classic piece of political ambushing, great work.

Sadly though, I suspect from your record of his views and responses, that it will be a case of in one ear out the other, still, a big round of applause.

Now I know what to expect in 45 mins when I meet him.

I think I will wear my shirt though. Then he can see not all football fans are aged 12-30 and male.

Excellent work young man!

Definitely needs to be made public-such crass ignorance of the whole stadium/Albion issue should be in the public domain. A copy of your draft should also be on its way to Charles Fence Sitter and Mr Deputy Prime Minister.

I find it totally amazing that the most vociferous MP against the "Stadium in Brighton" knows nothing about anything related to the application other than where it will be built. To still suggest the station site shows the man to be a fool. Anybody who is so much on the side of a bunch of NIMBYs should at least make an effort and do a little research on the subject surely?

Such outstanding work needs a much bigger stage than a fanzine (no disrespect meant Richie M).

We have, in a nutshell, a perfect picture of NIMBYism for the sake of NIMBYism-Prescott will love it! So will Dick Knight and Martin Perry.

I have said most of what I discussed on the sticky thread by Lord B.

Biscuit came with his Mum & Dad. His Mum was brilliant. I thought I was giving Norm a hard time :lolol:

He then said we should never have sold the Goldstone in the first place.

And who was it who administered the sale of the Goldstone? None other than David Bellotti, Norman's oldest political ally. Can't believe he never mentioned it to him while they were playing dominoes together.

He obviously looked at my age and realised he couldn't say that to me. No offence James but he probably thought you were too young to know.
He said to me that it was a 'shame' that the Goldstone was sold. I mentioned Bellotti to him (I didn't swear either)

Top work TFH, top work Yorkie. What great fans we have.

I know we're meant to be trying to look like well meaning footie fans and all that but can someone just give him a quick pinch on his bingo wings and then pretend nothing happened?

Sorry, Easy 10. I just have an old-fashioned view of the fanzine. It should be a place for original stuff.

Now, had the fanzine editorial collective embarked on a "let's nail Baker" stunt and sent someone specifically to do what the Full Harris has done, I'd be full of admiration when the story appeared in print.

So you're not full of admiration for this? To all the people that don't read NSC (the vast majority of Albion fans) this IS an original piece.

You're just coming across as a "Well it was better in my day" old man! Which is not the sort of attitude we have come to expect from you.

I for one think it is a great piece and well done to TFH for having the bottle to do it. I would have been scared of being tripped up and looking an idiot by some information that I wasn't aware of.

If I have any advice I'd add some details to the arguments you were making. Specifically, you mention that Reading were able to buld their stadium on a land fill site but we are not? Why?

Great work, TFH... go to press... fanzine, Ar$egas, wherever... the ignorance of our arch-enemy Baker should be exposed...

Lord B is usually spot on, but wrong on this one... end of...

I asked Norman about this when he mentioned Sheepcote Valley.

Apparently you can build on landfill but it is very expensive because the gas has to be dealt with first. I cannot remember the exact details of what he said but he did say that it could be done.
