What a legend... lives in Melbourne & keen to catch up with the Sydney Seagulls.

"Hi Tim,

Well done for the supporters group.

I'm not sure when I will be in Sydney next but when I am I would love to catch up with the guys and reminisce about the good old days.

Best wishes

Clarky"

Legend!

Indeed he is a top man. Met him a few times when he was in the UK as he was friends with some friends of my family. My parents then visited Australia and caught up with him and his family over in melbourne. Top man. Assume he's not playing any more? He was playing for one of the Melbourne teams when I was in NZ back in 2002.

Remember him playing for us, cant remember what he did though. Think he was popular as he was foreign (before foreign players were everywhere)

I remember the "We've got Jason Donovan in our team" chant due to his blonde hair and general Aussieness.

He was an exuberant box-to-box midfielder. Quite dynamic as I recall, but more often than not a sub.

Seem to recall Les Briley being played ahead of him, think it was the 91-92 season, the following year we had Matthew Edwards as our fans favourite midfield bench warmer

Love the picture, I was trying to work out whether it was the Senate or the House of Representatives...
