I found us a new midfielder

I emailed the club a week or so back about a midfielder I saw recently. He was a real class prospect, with lots of skill, energy and enthusiasm. Made some great runs and telling passes. He is an international but is only turning 21 next month. The game I saw him in was a World Cup qualifier.

He is currently playing in Sweden and I'm sure the Coke would appeal. A hidden gem, I reckon. I'm not going to name him, though, in case Coppell is reading this.

No response from the Albion, of course, but we can only hope...

I e-mailed the club a year ago about a local youngster who had made it to the ireland under 19's. I also heard nothing and then 6 months later he was snapped up by nottingham forest.

The last player I tipped them about was eight years ago. It was an unknown striker playing in a minor league overseas, although he too had played for his country. We were not doing very well at the time. He could have been had for a packet of crisps. He is now with another team in the Coca Cola Championship. Should have listened to me then, should listen to me now.

I recommended a young Goalie to the club 5 years ago,and they had a look at him and signed him up.

But then last year at the age of 15 he jacked it in.
Just one year off a chance of the big time!

So its not always the Clubs fault
