Especially the WANKERS that buy loads of tickets up and them sell them on ebay. What a right bunch of *****.

I was well looking forward to going to the Prodigy gig at Brixton which goes on till 3am but it sold out in f***ing minutes and surprise surprise there are f***ing 100's of the bastards tickets on ebay going for well over 100 quid for the pair. It's ludicrous yet nobody does anything about it. You go to gigs and there are sooooo many touts selling tickets and the police just stand there as if it doesn't matter. Surely comeone can do something about it?

f***ing *****.

Be careful Chappers if you do by them off E-Bay I bought 2 tickets for Ricky Gervais a couple of months ago, the guy who was selling them hadnt actually received the tickets when i bought them. when it got to about two weeks before the gig he mailed to say the theatre had refused his allocation because they thought he was a tout!  So i never got my tickets although i got my money back

ebay are well overdue an up-f***ing IMHO. They seem to make no distinction between running an online auction site and running a touting operation

Indeed, go to ebay and type in Prodigy and look in the tickets bit. 156 at the moment, mostly in pairs meaning thats over 300 tickets going and a lot won't have gone on yet. It's stoopid.

Make that 187.

Lots by the same people.

Al tickets should have the individuals name and address printed on them, to get in you show ID as well. Problem over.

Worked very well at Glasto.

I agree, it can't be that hard to organise either, surely?

Everyone moaned about getting Glasto tickets but the gate system was excellent and there were f*** all touts.

I went to Italy in 2000 with a mate from work and went to watch Juve vs Parma (last home game of the season, Juve needed to win to secure the league title)

Didn't have a ticket, game sold out, but got in no probs by buying a ticket from a tout. What an atmosphere, well worth the over-the-odds price of the ticket

I take your point about touts buying in bulk and then fleecing the "normal" fans but in this case, without a tout I would have been ****ed!

Point taken but when there are literaly hundreds of tickets on ebay for a gig that only holds a couple of thousand people then it takes the absolute piss.

Have to admit on occasions I have sold tickets on ebay, making a small profit, In most cases it was becuase I couldn't go in the end so sold them regardless of what they went for. I always list them starting at face value and in some cases this is what they have sold for or maybe 10 or 15 pounds more.

Prodigy ones are going for about 60 quid each at the moment. I reckon that'll go up though.

Still the best live experience in the country though, it would be a right good mash up.

Why not just go down to the gig anyways and call the touts bluff? By the time the first support/DJ comes on, the price will start to drop through the floor and you'll probably be able to pick a single ticket up less than cost price. Nothing touts hate more than being left with a fistful of worthless paper. Besides, there's always loads of dopey students whose mates haven't turned up who have a spare on the night. They tend to shy well clear of the touts for some reason.

if the tickets are sold with the phrase "not transferable" on them, then eBay wil withdraw them if you complain. This happened with the play-off final when tickets were appearing on eBay a few emails and they vanished.

If the new Prodigy album is anything to go by then it could be a blessing in disguise, its RUBBISH! :nono:

I actually quite like it, wasn't too impressed to start with but having had it for a month or so now, it doesn't sound half bad and as Chappers said they will be the best live experience you'll ever see as always.

I'm goign to brixton on the friday night and can't bloody wait.
