hope Ingrid's email clarifies your doubts. In any case, I was quite surprise when I saw that you failed the exam. I think you should not think in failing, that it is not an option. You are more than capable to pass this exam, so prepare the exam, it is going to be similar to the previous and course exercises. As you say you have shown that you are competent enough to pass the fist year, so do it. Stop thinking about failing or other negative scenarios, be positive and pass the exam.
