Yes and yes. Have a 6 hour wait to change buses and girlfriend has been sick all night so cant really leave her and go to the pub, so sitting upstairs in bus station on inernet. Bored.

I remember it being a bit like Red Bull Special Brew, probably more fly-me up than pick-me up...they would never sell it in Europe, far too many e-numbers, would probably qualify as a narcotic.

Pity you are stuck in Lima, which from memory is a bit rough around the edges, if you are in the city centre...I seem to remember Miraflores being pretty much OK.

Was there last night. Your postcard is in my bag. Not as nice as your Trujillo, but they do have their own brand of beer, which is reasonably drinkable.

Enjoy Cuzco, top place, if a little over-run with touristy types.

My highlights there were the picture in the cathedral of the last supper, where it appears they are eating guinea pig...some of the cafes on the main square were pretty good, amazing mocha coffee and cakes, some great little bars in the back-streets...also the smallest cinema I have ever been to, only sat about 20 people, also the friendliest as a lady comes round and takes orders for refreshments before the film starts.
