I just don't think we have ANYTHING going for us atm, and as the game wears on, it will dawn on our lot also, with Moldova gaining in confidence, and it petering out to a nil each

That's ignoring the fact that we always play semi competently in the qualifiers, we leave it until the main tournament before we choke against inferior competition.

I was just about to start a thread pointing out that there is a competitive England game starting in less than 3 hours, and we are all SO disinterested that there isn't one thread on it.

I have backed England to win (2/7) and Defore to score (10/11)

Away form in qualifiers is usually pretty good & the Moldovans are hardly world beaters - FIFA rank them 141st (though with the caveat that a system that ranks England 3rd is an utter JOKE)

Should be a walk in the park (so cue drab 0-0 draw)

I've lost all intrest in England but i need my football fix, so my prediction is Defoe to score first and the final result to be a draw

All these Defoe to score first remarks remind me of being in a pub a couple of years ago watching a Euro 2012 qualifier (?), which we won 4-1, with Defoe scoring first, and someone holding up a betting slip at the end with that combo backed at 45/1 to the tune of £10. Nice

El boshio!

Taking money off the bookies is a tremendous feeling (usually because of the large amount that's gone the other way in the past!)

Uninterested, Shirley?

I'm not interested enough in it to judge whether I can be disinterested.

We in fact rairly choke against inferior opposition 'per say'

2012: Italy are a better side than us.
2010: Yes I agree we did choke.
2008: I blame the manager and we simply were not good enough.
2006: Penalties - and did well to get it that far with ten men.
2004: We were robbed.
2002: Brazil - and we ran them close.
2000: Chocked big time.

England penalty in 3 mins... Maldova haven't scored a single goal this year. It will be a drubbing.

Isn't Moldova that imaginary country from Dallas spin-off Dynasty in the Eighties? If yes, reckon England might scrape a draw while Joe Hart laughs like a loon at his defence's errors that tho's not bright enough to realise it actually implicate HIM. That boy's got less clean sheets to his name than a serial bed-wetter.

After 15 mins, you would have been better off going large on Joe Hart not touching the ball
