I leave for Oz on Friday for one month - I dont want to go. I hate flying and its going to take forever to get there - to top it all off, I have got a stinking cold and feel like poo. :(

Why don't you want to go to Oz? Its a blinding place.

Whenever i am on a plane and either bored or a little worried about it I think of good things that i an enjoy when i get back to Blighty, ie the albion, mates, drinking etc, seems to work most of the time and you may even drift off into a lovely sleep.

i'll go instead if you want.

Inflight entertainment will help the journey pass. I got through five movies and an episode of Friends on the way back from Thailand. Double that and you'll be in Oz.

My mates just got back from a few months in Oz and wants to go straight back again. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Yeah, i know your all right - and i will get to meet Stumpy Tim!!!!

It will be fine when i get there, am just dreading the flight and stuff, however, I am going to do the climb over the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge - In The Stripes!!!! :clap2: That will be a top picture!

I will also be able to join the clan of people logging on to NSC at bizarre times of day! :lolol:

Trotster.

I did the harbour bridge a couple of years ago, its well good, not at all scary and the views over Sydney and the bay area are extraordinary.

Unfortunately you will not be allowed to wear the stripes, they have jump suits that you HAVE to wear, don't even bother arguing with them as i tried to do the stripes when i did it. They are very tight on security on that thing. Twats.

I trust Stumpy Tim is going to take you out on the razz at Darling Harbour though?

Good point. Definitely not worth doing then ;)

We'll be heading for Cargo in Darling Harbour & then to the Mars Lounge. Might head to the Fringe Bar in Paddinton too - plenty of Australian soapstars in there. I was amazed to see Ryan from Heartbreak High there a couple of weeks ago

Can't you stick the stripes in your pocket and then at an oportune monet simply slip it on over your jumpsuit for the duraiton of the picture and then whip it off straight after. Surely they can't be so anal not to let you do that.

The jump suits do not have pockets.

The suits are a dull grey colour. The reason they do it so the traffic below isn't distracted by people above them. There's no getting round it

Have fun Trotster, I like the idea of the Stripes on the bridge - what about pics from Ramsey Street, Summer Bay and the top of Ayres Rock? :D if your going to these places that is!

Have a good trip
