Hyperthetical Zombie Apocalypse best place to hold up/ hide in Brighton?

There are some problems with the whole marina thing.
1. Zombies can walk on the seabed..refer to World War Z.
2. You would have a sizeable population trapped in there with you. Especially if they the apocalypse happened on a nice day. How long before someone dies of old age or some disease like diabetes where they would cark without regular insulin. We all know what happens then. Bitey time.
3. There's always massive loads of annoying teenagers hanging around Maccy Ds and the bowling alley. They'd send you mental. You'd have to imprison them on a boat or something.

Is it a world wide zombie apocalypse or just uk or even Brighton based?
If it was uk based then you've got to risk the marina for a boat so you can hightail it across the channel. Actually, even if it was a world wide apocalypse I think the Marina might be the best bet. If you can get a big enough boat you can survive out at sea and only come in to land when you need supplies.
Obviously you'd have to fight your way through a lot of other people and there'd almost definitely be zombies knocking around too. Ideally you'd find out about the apocalypse while you were at the maccy d's drive through so you could get your dinner sorted, nip across to Asda to stock up on vital provisions and weapons and then go nick a boat.

I would stay in my house, its got a basement living area no chance for Zombies to get in. I have an axe, kitchen knives, DIY tools and a set of golf clubs. I would nip down to easy hours to steal provisions. Might try and get down to the gun shop in Ship street (I think). I assume the internet would work so I have porn. Happy days.

Theatre Royal.
1. One can always make a drama out of a crisis.
2. Plenty of stage makeup and costumes to blend in with the zombie hordes
3. All the Maltesers and Wine Gums one could possibly eat
4. A trap door to mysteriously disappear from sight
5. Basic pyrotechnics and lighting to create effect
6. Several changing backdrops to add to zombie confusion
e.g. The middle of the forest from 'Little Red Riding Hood', Courtyard of Ko-Ko's official residence in Titipu, Japan from 'The Mikado', etc.
7. The pantomime line 'It's behind you' would take on a whole new meaning
8. A ready-made supporting cast to perform the Thriller video dance
9. Once the performance has started, zombies are not allowed admittance until the interval
10. Interval drinks can be pre-ordered before the show to avoid queues
11. Zombies can be directed to exit stage right whilst surviving humans exit stage left, thus avoiding unnecessary unpleasantness

I live in deepest darkest West Sussex so not thought about Brighton for this situation but this is where I’d head over my way.
Having thought about this long and hard, I think I would head for a B and Q or any DIY store, we have one in our village. Stock up on crow bars! (See Zombie survival guide essential wepons) http://zombie.wikia.com/wiki/Crowbar
Then possibly Arundel Castle, big walls, mote easy to defend and enough shops to scavenge from. Also lots of open land and elevated parts of building to see any large swarms or wrong un's coming. I’d wait there for things to calm down short to mid term.
Failing the Castle I was at Littlehampton Academy as my lad plays football there and it is quite well fortified with security fences and high enough windows to stop zombies getting in. Failing that Ford Open Prison has some pretty sweet defences/fences, also any inmates likly to be handy in a scuffle if you can team up.
LONG TERM, if you can get enough of a "clearance squad" somewhere like Hayling Island is perfect, In fact I know a small DIY store there so that is where I’d start. This all depends on If the un dead can’t swim or not. Or to the Isle of White if possible, clear the un dead and start again. That’s what they did in the day of the triffids and that is what I would do.

Best Transport, has to be a push bike. Can get away from Zombies, weave around car wrecks and go off road. down side you can't carry much with you.

I think this is an excellent idea with just a slight modification. I live in a cul-de-sac off Franklin Road with an entrance to The Patch at the other end so you can easily block off my street and if you secure the Patch which is fairly easy to do seeing as it only has 3 access points then you've got plenty of space for growing food and a few pigs and hens.
