I mean, it's a nice conversation, at best.

But it's a little bit cringe-worthy. Two dinosaurs of the game, who have never managed at this level, giving advice to a modern manager who is already playing a high standard of football than these have ever managed at.

I love Mark McGhee and Micky Adams for what they did here - but they are not really in the position to give Fab advice over anything.

Good job he didn't ask for their opinions on anything, then.

McGhee and Adams were both at the club to honour Dick Knight in the end of season awards, so presumably a spin-off from that.

It’s quite possible he might be somewhere in between? Genuinely baffled at best player against Newcastle, he couldn’t cope with Newcastle’s wingers who were constantly skinning him on the outside.
