Evening all - Was wondering if any of you had ever purchased a humidifier at all. Our heating really dries out the rooms at night and we are looking to get a decent humidifier but dont know which ones to buy. dont wanat to buy cheap and nasty but dont want to get ripped off either. Any ideas most welcome.
Thanks in advance

why buy a humidifier when you can just leave a bowl of water in the room, works just as well and does not cost anything to run I.M.O

Why not just turn the heating off at night and put an extra blanket on the bed? Will save on your heating bills too.

The heating is off at night but the air has already been dried right our before then and opening a window lets the colder air in which makes it worse.
