Albion boss Chris Hughton has pleaded with his players to stop putting him through the wringer - by winning comfortably for a change.
Hughton, renowned as one of the calmest managers in the country, was animated when Bobby Zamora's late strike from the bench clinched Tuesday's 2-1 win against Bristol City at the Amex.
All eight of the victories which have helped the undefeated Seagulls to a four-point lead at the top of the Championship have been by a single goal margin.
Hughton admitted: "A nice, comfortable win would be nice one of these days.
"There are so many good aspects of our game at the moment but still we can make some games more comfortable for ourselves.

"It's certainly exciting for the supporters and ultimately that's what you want to try to do, please the supporters not only by wins but by entertainment value. Certainly in the last two home games (Bristol and Cardiff) they've had that in abundance."Bristol were inspired by trying to become the first side to beat Albion and Hughton is prepared for Preston to be similarly motivated at the Amex tomorrow.
"It comes with it," he said. "I'd rather be having this type of pressure and the challenges of staying where we are than mid-table trying to get into that top six or where we found ourselves towards the end of last season, trying to make sure we got points to stay in the division."
