Albion manager Chris Hughton has warned Fulham have the class and finances to be big improvers in the Championship.
The Seagulls are aiming to revive their fortunes this season and so are today’s hosts.
Relegated from the Premier League under Felix Magath, Kit Symons’ side were below Albion last season with three games to go before pulling five points clear of them into 17th.
They have started almost as well as Hughton’s team, following up a 1-1 draw at Cardiff with a 1-0 win at Wycombe in the Capital One Cup.
Hughton said: “There’s no doubt that they have quality. They also have ability in this window and the next window to add to the quality they’ve got.
“Which ever team are able to have a good spell can be pushing for the play-offs and I think Fulham will definitely be one of those teams with aspirations to do that.”
