This is sooooooooo funny on the Wednesday site

"There are no positives from tonight, the only way I can see out of our dire situation is to demolish Hillsborough, give our trophies to the pigs, build a Lidl store in it's place and employ the players to work on the checkouts with Megson as store manager.

Forget Wednesday ever existed, it was just a bad dream.

This is the only option left open to us. If we keep trying to support Sheffield Wednesday it will just ruin our quality of life and the stress will eventually drive us to an early grave. We all have human rights and Sheffield Wednesday is breaching them severely."

I feel for them. We've been there. They'll be back but it's going to sting for a few years yet.

The Football League record is Nottingham Forest - 42 games from Nov '77 to Dec '78

Premier League - Arsenal 49 games May 2003 to October 2004

Huddersfield have gone 32 LEAGUE games (excl play-offs) without defeat, since they got torn a new one by Southampton in December 2010

Just editing that one for you.

An occasion visit to owlstalk is one of life's guilty pleasures. It really is very very funny seeing them so shite, especially getting absolutely dicked by villages like Stevenage.

Didn't we break their winning run? Away I believe

Remember that game. I think it was Mark Lawrensons comeback game after a long term injury. He was outstanding and was so tired when the game finished, he needed help to walk off the pitch.

A humorous read though Owlstalk generally is, and certainly was during last night's game, the arrogance in much of the pre-match "banter" bears tedious similarity to the content of many of the pre-Palace game postings that have populated NSC during recent weeks.
Hopefully, those of us who are unable to get to the game on the 27th won't be resorting to comparing crisp/Dorritto/Pringle flavours online or posting whilst having a lucky dump ("it worked last time we were losing") etc, etc.
