The good news is that we have done enough in the first half of the season to allow ourselves some breathing space and experience a blip. However, it's all well and good saying we have won 7 from 8 in the league but defeat tonight would mean 3 defeats in 5 matches in all competitions. That is a serious check on our momentum, will cause concern in the dressing room and give heart to our competitors. A draw tonight, no matter how spawny, no matter how undeserved, would feel like a victory and cheese off the chasing pack no end.

I'm not optimistic of our chances for tonight but there's still time for Mr Hughton to acquire yet more salt.

We've been undone in the middle of the park, but every goal has been a gift in some capacity. Sidwell for either Norwood or Kayal just to shore up in front of the back 4, and March for Murphy. But March will have to work hard, because Huddersfield are good and varied out wide
