Keepers: Anketgren, Brezovan, (Walker and Poke)

Defenders: Greer, Elphick, El-Abd, Calderon, Painter, Vincelot, (Taricco (?), Cook, Dunk)

Midfield: Navarro, Sparrow, Dicker, Smith, Bridcutt, Noone, Buckley (KLL possible) (Caskey, Kasim),

Striker: CMS, Barnes, Hoskins, Bergkamp (Agdestein)

Have I forgotten anyone?

Players unlikely to be first team/ on the bench (in my opinion) are in brackets.

I would say shaping up very well, looking fresh, but imbalanced.

Centre Midfield and Centre Defence in particular; slightly worrying as this is the heart of the team.

Who would be your first team 16/18 ?

Is that SQUAD competitive enough for Championship?

I personally think looking at it shows there is still a lot of work, a couple of big signings don't make a team. What is your verdict?

A touch more heft at the back and in midfield and I think we have a squad that can make progress this season.

Think we might yet have one or two more transfer surprises, mind ...

Noone and KLL play wide left and everything I've heard suggests Buckley will play behind the strikers. Are we missing someone toplay wide right?

Noone and Sparrow can fill in right.

Damour in CM and a great CB who also plays LB if need arises - 2 players total after Lua Lua

I'd still rather a new keeper but fair enough if Gus doesn't. Just don't think depth is a reason to avoid improving a glaring need for a starter at this level
