Bad mistake for first goal (how often have I said that!), couple of fumbles, a good 50 yard dash to help out Harding, mixed with several stunning blocks, bravery, and good catches.

1 being the lowest, 10 the highest.

How did he play?

7 out of 10 but very lucky to stay on.

I think he had his line of vision blocked for the goal.

He had the sun in his eyes for the first half (the Stockport keeper only had the sun for 10 mins and then it clouded over for the rest of the game)

Did some superb catches later in the game. Lucky not to be red carded (sorry Fran)

If he had been red carded then so should 17 others! They all joined in and were equally as bad.

Just seen it on the TV and his was by far the worst reaction - he ran half the length of the pitch to start throwing punches over a matter that didn't involve him.
Looking out for your younger team-mates is commendable but his reaction was unproffesional and I doubt if McGee was too impressed.
Following on from his earlier gaffe (which we all know wasn't his only one recently) I reckon The FDM must be in with a shout of regaining the gig when fully fit.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Roberts had essentialy a good game yesterday, but his reaction at the McIlroy incident was reckless, especially as we aint exactly flush for keepers right now.

I was right in front of the whole thing and it was his reaction that turned our coaching staff getting involved, to walking away from it, as I could see McGhee literally fuming with rage that Roberts was getting involved and they thought he was going to be sent off.

Personally I didnt think he should have been, but its all very well backing the lads up, but Charlie and Chippy are quite capable of looking after themselves, and Dan harding wasnt even involved at that point, those who witnessed Jones performance for the reserves midweek would have been VERY concerned at the prospect of Roberts getting sent off.

6 I think, and give the coco thing a rest.

His reaction to the 1st goal was non-exitent, v.poor keeping indeed. Looked low on confidence. Was lobbed in 2nd half, made 1 good save and a couple of catches. Funny run to get involved in the Harding incident, but fairly unprofessional. 5/10.

I am fast becoming more of a Kuipers fan than ever.

I used to be a fan of Kuipers once and acknowledge he has been an able keeper in the past. However, I have to be convinced that he still is. We'll have to see.

With regard to blaming Roberts for the goal - again people see it differently - there was an argument I overheard at half time when someone did just that. The other person replied "How can you blame the goalkeeper?" commenting that the fault lay with the outfield players who allowed the Stockport player to be in the position to lob the keeper in the first place.

What annoys me is that If some people don't like a player they won't let it go. It has happened in the past with many players, more recently with with Kitson, Lee and Roberts. If the face doesn't fit, they don't stand a chance. I get very fed up with it and I can well understand how BrightonBird did too. It's funny how some people didn't have a good word to say about Brooker, but when he'd gone, they wanted him back! There's no pleasing some people!

Yes. I don't want to discuss it any more as I'll only get more wound up! I think I'll ignore all the stupid comments and bait in future and leave those whose idea of humour is not mine to it! It's really not worth bothering with. Goodnight!

Stockport fans we spoke to in the pizza shop said our keeper was a clown and the goal was his fault. However, his eyes seemed to be looking in different directions so I don't know if he is the best judge of a goalkeeper.

Has anyone slagged off Lee? Apart from the obvious statement; he is not good enough. He's had a chance and I am sure everyone would love him to be a good player. But it isn't going to happen.

I don't care how good a player Kitson was or could have been. The fact of the metter was his attitude was shit. And quite frankly he was a first class wanker.

He was in a similar situation to Butters, the only difference being he was a far better player. Butters never moaned. He worked hard and will probably end up player of the year this season.

I rated him a 6 for the mistake for their goal.In no mans land.
But then his reaction to back Harding up and run 30+ yards to get involved for his team mates deserves a lot of credit.Still rate him higher then Kuipers.
