Deffo disease. The AIDS, which is natures latest attempt to take us down, hasn't got us yet. Whatever it comes up with next will be pretty effective I rekon.

This, sadly. We're due another "Black Death", even if our understanding of disease has got better.

Mankind, in some form has only been on the planet for only 450,000 years of the Earth 4.5 Billion year history, if evolution is believed but it is the last 200/300 years that have sealed our fate with the population and greed, corruption, growing to proportions that are unsustainable - money is no longer a working tool of control but the lust for it and this unending call for 'Growth' will lead to the destruction of the essential environmental requirements for life on the planet.
Food and water will run short everywhere as the population booms and the environment declines, countries will turn on each other as the populations invade their richer neighbours for food/energy.
The good news is we will not be here to see it, I reckon another 300/500 years will see the species in serious trouble, unless of course the planned population cull, takes place sooner rather than later.

We'll be exterminated by mutant super squirrels, in spaceships.

With lasers.

To put things in perspective, the universe was "formed" some 14 billion years ago. Homo Sapiens has been in existence for almost 200,000 years. This is a ratio of 1:70,000

If you relate the life of the universe to one day, "man" has been in existence for 1.23 seconds. We are so insignificant, in the scheme of things, that to think we'll last as much as another 0.12 seconds is wishful thinking.

I reckon that the feral women will continue to breed at pace in Croydon. Each with the forced facelift scraped back hair, surgically adhered pink velour tracksuit skin, and fingers permanently in a 'W' and 'E' sign speaking in some interminable text speak faux gangsta stylee.

They will take over the world chanting weird songs, slagging off the mancs, worshipping a lord who's hand is surgically attached upright to his head and paying just 10% of everything they buy. This will cause breakdown of the financial system, long term drive to evade tax and cause society to turn on each other, burning down furniture stores

I therefore voted for Zombie invasion

I think it's thought to be about 200,000 years, with the oldest settlement thought to have been found in Ethiopa dating approx. 160,000 years ago.

The global population is thought to start to level off. Many women worldwide are choosing to have less children than their ancestors, getting closer to like for like replacement. One of the major factors of the boom is the fact that over the last 100 years, medical advances have meant we are all living a lot longer.

The only salvation for the planet would be through science. We have more than enough energy to supply mankind simply hitting the earth from our sun every single day. If 1% of the Sahara desert was covered with concentrating solar panels, it would power the entire world. But the world needs the will power to deliver these projects.

Crocodiles have managed 200 million years, surviving 'events' such as the distinction of the dinosaurs, as have Turtles, who may have been around for longer. So there is hope we could make it to 10 seconds at least...
