How often do you get to have a dump in the woods?

Must admit I like doing this, as long as I've got enoughwipes afterwards. It fulfils my recycling urges.

Last one was about 6 weeks ago on Shirley Hills just after I'd looked around a windmill. Probably fully recycled by now.

Once, while on a Cornish fishing holiday I was caught out by a desperate need while up an estuary at low tide bait digging. I had to clamber across the mud flats and find somewhere to release the biggie. on the edge of the bank I came across a deserted sea scout base with a couple of dozen small dinghys and canoes surrounded by thick woods. I was able to get my left cheek on the bow of one canoe and my right cheek on the bow of another and was able to plop out in the gap between the two. It was blissful to unload.

Just spent a 7 week camping in the wilds and pooing trip round South West United States. Always had trowel to dig the hole, toilet paper and lighter (ready to burn paper) close at hand. trekking Mt Whitney was the worst. We had to use a so called wag bag and carry it around with us until it could be disposed of at the end of the walk 3 days later. The best was sitting under a Joshua Tree on a hill top surveying miles and miles of open desert and not a soul to be seen, except the r one.

Don't know why this was moved.

Remember everyone dig a hole and cover the evidence, not near a water course and burn (carefull of bush fires) or take the paper. Otherwise you are an animal!

I forgot.. many years ago I had a dump on the beach near Cuckmere Haven, and before I could move away a little dog ran up. smelt it and then scoffed it whole.

Luckily by the time its owner, a LOL turned up with her elderly friend, I was respectable. But I imagined her cuddling the dog and letting it lick her face for ages afterwards..
