I have lived in gloucester for ....quite a while but the cheese roll is totally mad!

I think the guy that wins it usually does every year.

When we lived in Cheltenham, the cheese rolling event always got top billing. It's one of the most mental things I've seen, and all it takes is some dairy products and a steep hill! The local casualty department must be kept busy fixing all the broken limbs...

There's the annual 'Birdman' contest held in Bognor Regis...can't remember the Palace Pier holding one, and the last person to leave the West Pier was the fucker who set fire to it!
