I recommend going to Reiss - about £350. If not Marks & Spencers do have some great suits in their larger stores for a couple of hundred.
Tesco's £ 40, most mortgage advisors get their suits there nowadays.
At least a fiver, maybe even seven pounds fifty at a push.

I paid bang on £350 for a suit from Austin Reed, dark grey and a fairly classical design that won't be out of style in a couple of years time. Before going there I went to a couple of other places and have to say that most I tried on just looked cheap and shoddy, despite not costing much less than I finally paid...which isn't the sort of image you want to present if you turn up for a meeting trying to look your best. Round it off with a nice shirt and tie, make sure the sleeves are long enough so some cuff is showing from the jacket.
