after the bizzare string of results in the euro finals some betting shops must have made a handful! so how much money did you lose?

in total i must have thrown away 20 quid but at least it made the games a bit more exciting!

Made a piddly overall profit, mainly due to placing bets on 'More Than Two Goals scored' and 'Total Goal Minutes More Than 120/130/140 etc.) for games in which I'd otherwise have no interest whatsoever. A number of each way bets on Portugal to win the tournament came up trumps. Even managed a highly unlikely pick-up on Henrik Larssen being top goal scorer at 33/1 each way - he dead-heated for fourth place somehow! Rooney would have pissed all over that particular accolade if England hadn't thrown in the towel earlydoors (they'll never have a better chance to win a major tournament). Not at all as profitable as expected tho. Nevermind.

Had Greeks to win against France.
Had Greeks to win against Portugal (final).
Had England to win correct score 3-0 against the Swiss.

Losers:
Had the Czech Rep. to win outright (each-way bet, flippin close).
Morientes leading scorer (miles out).
England 1-1 draw with France (last kick cost me).
England 2-1 win against Portugal (Swiss ref cost me).

Mixed bag but well in profit overall and should have been a lot better.

it was easy to win money though, i signed up to five boomakers with their free £20 or £25 bet, and just put this on a double of 2 easy games each time and brought in £200, which would have been £340 if greece won their group and had lost to france, but did well enough.

I ended up 163.80 in profit over the tournament, including my prediction of greece to win 1-0 against the french and greece to win one nil against portugal. Quite pleased with my performance overall and gives me plenty of playing money for the season ahead.
