I mugged him last night and he had 80quid in his wallet....so he's worth £80.

Nice that all the Champ clubs are circling that Gills winger Jarvis at the moment, some breathing space for us before they take our best player.

MP stated most catergorically, on the phone in, when pressed by Harty, no players will be sold in January. He did say that in fact the opposite was going to happen we are going to strengthen the squad.

I see that as indication of going for the play offs and possible promotion by which time the Falmer decision will be in. If a Yes the new company will be formed and repay our legal expenses so money available to buy players for the Championship in the summer.

Or a I dreaming and hoping!

So the value of Cox ,Robinson or Lynch is immaterial.

What else did you expect Martin Perry to say when being badgered by Harty?

We are a selling club because of our circumstances and every one of our players has a price-tag. With any luck, however, there will be no clubs prepared to pay the hefty price I'm sure we would put on our best young players.

That is what he could have said, exactly what you have written and then added, we are not planning to sell any players BUT if we receive what we consider to be an excessive offer eg Virgo to Celtic then we shall have to consider it.

He could have said that but some might have regarded that as equivocation and leapt to the silly conclusion that we might be touting our players around to be sold. Much better just to say it in the language Harty wants to hear, everybody's happy.

When a player is sold this will come back to haunt him ' You said most definitely'
