Second highest finish ever and almost 50% of votes are 3/5 or lower. Give your head a wobble.
Expectations were probably at the highest ever. That's the difference.

There was a point in March we were thinking of Champions League, our chairman was getting very excited about it when interviewed at the horses. but despite 4 wins and a draw in our final five we've failed to qualify for any sort of competition AND watched our biggest rivals win a trophy and qualify for Europe. I think it's your head that's the problem if you can't see why some are disappointed at what might have been.

A very enjoyable season, a solid 4/5 for me. My personal highlights from the few games I was able to go to:

1. The comeback 3-2 win against Spurs. A cracking game with a cracking atmosphere in the second half. I'm glad I booked my flight back for the Monday, so I could make it for this one.
2. The 2-1 win against Chelsea in the cup. Another great comeback win and particularly enjoyed the pantomime booing of Cucurella, then seeing him end up in the back of the net in front of the North Stand, failing to stop the ball going in.

Game of the season was probably Liverpool last week. I would have loved to have been over for that one.
