Europe would have been great but considering it is FH first season for us in a new league & all the injuries there's been (even today!!), that has been a thoroughly enjoyable year! Well done chaps.

I really enjoyed it, despite the ups and downs. Highlights have been Baleba becoming an utterly dominant PL midfielder, Hinshelwood continuing to develop, Ayari outdoing expectations, Mitoma still Mitomaing, Van Hecke Van Hecking, the multiple comeback wins, some wonderful goals, Gruda and Minteh showing they've got it, Georginho being Georginho, Rutter being Rutter, and Hürzeler guiding the team to a very respectable 8th place finish.

We have some superb young players who will only get better next season, and by the same process, iron out the inconsistencies that often come with young teams (look at Chelsea).

Beating Chelsea twice in a week was great, as was the cup win at Newcastle, and the home win over Spurs because they were on a good run then and thought they were going places. Our comeback win was the start of a crushing seven month long realisation that they are in fact really shit.

They can spend all night tonight telling us they got battered today because they were tired and hungover, yet their 22 league defeats this season tells us that it was, once again, quite simply because they are just very bad at football.

Enjoyed a lot of it, found parts really really frustrating. It’s never been a question of us not having the ability, but the silly mistakes and naivety (to be expected) have been really irritating.

I suppose to get a figure on that scale I have to compare it to other recent seasons. Enjoyed it a lot more than any of Potter’s seasons but enjoyed both of RDZ’s seasons, especially 2022/23, A LOT more. Next season could be fun now that FH has had a year to get to grips with the league, however I’m really concerned with how we’re going to compensate for losing Mitoma and Pedro. That’s twenty goals right there, likely gone.

It’s been a good season, especially the start and the end, feels like we left a few points out there but it’s a young team and inexperienced (in the PL) coach which will have learnt masses.

We should be pretty strong next year.

Some great moments. Battering Chelsea, the comebacks against City and Spurs, the win against Liverpool, the late winner against United, the wins at Newcastle...

West Ham at home was probably the highlight for me in terms of personal enjoyment, coming in clutch when it looked like we had blown it, winning it with a late stunner in the sunshine. Can't beat it.

How well we have done has taken me by surprise! I wanted the manager out after the Forest drubbing and there was not much that was going to change my mind on that! But we seemed to quickly pick ourselves up and get the points after a loss. The West Ham game was a prime example, I had already left the stadium early and was muttering profanities about the manager.. and then we get the epic comeback and win.

The aperitif and starter were lovely, as was the dessert and the coffee and brandy.

The meat and potatoes was a bit disappointing. It should have been the easiest thing to do well. However, I did have a few cracking glasses of wine with it.

Would go again.

I think a lot of us fans have found Hurzelers development over the season difficult.

He has made a LOT of mistakes, from team-selection to tactics, but in his defense and his credit - he does seem to learn from them, and we do improve on our failings time after time.

I don't think he'll be the perfect manager next season - but he'll be a better, more experienced manager than this season - and he's done a pretty darn good job this season, all things considered - so we have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about him.

Never a 5 Harry. Mostly pretty damn good but a big slice of what could have been. That finish though has set me up for next season. Players back/players in ? Ooh I’m getting excited

I will be happy to recalibrate my expectations, and threshold levels for point awardings come December next season
