How many would the Amex hold if........

sorry if already done but did check first and couldn't see anything. An earlier thread got me thinking, how many do you think the Amex would hold if it was all standing ? 40,000 ?

Correct me if I'm wrong but safe standing would use 20% more depth per row, then fit two people (one in front of the other) per row. If the number of people in a single row is the same then that would equate to 200%/(1.20) = 166% compared to a full stadium of people sitting, which would boost the Amex from 27,500 to 45,650.

In the old style terraces? No idea

Terraces (in good condition) could hold 54 persons per 10 sq metre according to the Green Code (1973).
