He's up to 18 goals from 18 starts and 12 substitute appearances.

We have a minimum of 20 games remaining this season - 17 in the Premier League, two in the Europa League and one in the FA Cup.

As an aside, can he join the exalted Albion 30-goals-in-a-season club?

36 - Peter Ward (1976/77)
35 - Arthur Attwood (1932/33)
32 - Hugh Vallance (1929/30), Garry Nelson (1987/88), Bobby Zamora (2001/02)
31 - Frank Scott (1902/03), Bobby Zamora (2000/01)

You just hope the lad can steer clear of injury.

If so his rate seems more likely to go up than down, so I'll guess 35 in all comps

He's come a long long way since being introduced in his pumped-up puffer jacket to widespread indifference at half-time at the Amex during the 5-1 drubbing by Everton. To oddly widespread indifference on here also, has to be said

Not from me. Obviously I have no way of backing this up, but I fell for 18 year old Joao Pedro the very first time I saw him playing (on TV) for Watford.
I thought his touch, and his ability to look after the ball and bring others into play, looked a level miles above most players his age. I went on and on about him Back then - so much so, that when our interest was revealed a couple of seasons later my lads were both laughing about how excited I was going to be.

The other young striker I called straight away, off the back of a couple of games on loan at Preston, was Cameron Archer. He’s a brilliant instinctive finisher -who happily was completely ineffectual for Sheffield United yesterday.

My grandson was at sixth form college with a Watford supporting mate, so knew all about Pedro. He was as excited as you.
He’s at uni now but exchanging texts whenever penalties or goals are scored, like yesterday. See, Grandma, I told you he was good.

Could tell he was something very special from his first game for us on the USA pre season tour. Immediately transferred him into my FPL team at the expense of Fergie (0.5 cheaper!)
