I reckon at just £1 one of us should bid for them ... and give them as award prizes at the next NSC meet up! The bigger the award the bigger the remote control!

All in 1 (does the TV, DVD and Sky)
DVD (I like the buttons more than the All in 1 one)
Stereo
TV (rarely used now, unless I can't find the All in 1)
Surround Sound

That reminds me of the day I bought the All in 1 remote. I couldn't BELIEVE how it had to be programmed to work, I honestly thought the instructions were taking the piss. I had to put it on the table "face to face" with the old TV remote, and press a combination of buttons so that the All in 1 remote could "learn" some functions from the old one.

My other half walked in, saw what I was doing, and thought I was mental. But bugger me backwards if it didn't work.

Science eh ? Cor.

I have 10 in use currently. And about 30 or more for old trashed appliances.

I need one of them flashy sony things.

It's really good. I use it all the time. You pick which buttons you want for each appliance and then just point your old remote at it and press the buttons one at a time so that it learns the frequency. Each time you select an appliance along the bottom all the buttons on the display change to reflect the one you are using. Also, if you touch the screen in poor light conditions it automatically lights up the display. It's a gadget fiend's wet dream. Stopped my girfriend's moaning about the number of remotes as well

Can you edit/set the names on the screen like the Sony?

Those things are useless unless you can map and name EVERY function.

I have friends who use all-in-ones AND the old remotes. :lolol:
