NOT a new location for me as visited many times, but a different construction since we last played there. I had to look it up - 21 years is a long time. They were on their way to the top of the leagues and we were just about to drop out of the second level on our way to the bottom. That old ground had character - terraces inside and terraced houses outside the main stand.

Bought my ticket at 11.00am today, the very helpfull guy on the desk told me just over 600 were sold

You could always try the megabus to Manchester for the way up there, London to Manchester 12 quid, but takes a few hours, there's four of us driving up from brighton & crawley, £88 is really expensive, if you read earlier posts someone was trying to sell train tickets for bout 30 quid

My last trip to Blackburn... November 1991

Had to miss the Rugby World Cup Final
Very early start
Raining
Arrived late
No cider at the East Lancs Beer Festival (They normally have a few brands)
Crap away end
Lost 1-0
Massive train delays going back
Became ill
Brighton fan smashes table in carriage.
Have to go to smokers carriage to avoid trouble (throbbing headache no pills)
Transport Police board train-we arrive hours late in Euston
BR Taxi back from Euston to a terrential downpour at home in Brighton.
I throw up.

...I think it might be my worst ever away trip....
