I dont doubt they wont get in but it does make logical sense to make them go into an unused area of the ground and pay inflated prices ie.£35 or £40 each no concessions.

Thios would set a precedent and stop other supporters trying to do it.

Nice utopian world. I want to live there

Hmm I'd never go to away game without a ticket if I knew I could get in on the gate for £40, no way

That was obviouly a figure plucked out the air for tickets which are £30 each through normal channels.

OK fair enough wasnt trying to be pedantic, just sarcastic.
If I hadnt had a ticket for the Amex I would have paid, hmm lets see... £ 100 ? yep £150 ? probably, not like i'm rich but I wouldve paid that on the gate for sure.
So maybe your idea has merits for the right price but then why not just sell premium price tickets outside of the allocation in the first place ?
1000 tickets available at £150 each, no history... think they would sell ?

If pre arranged people would buy them but would these so called 400 people be happy if they were suddenly confronted with a ticket and a penalty notice of £80 for being in a restricted area, a penalty notice being enforceable in court and would take time to issue so a large number would miss a large amount of the game or be late going home afterwards if waiting for the notice to be issued.

No but an extra 2,000 tickets at face value would have been purchased and been extra money in Palace's pocket's, your loss at least that £60K not to be included in the Tax Return. Sorry just bitter not having a ticket.

I agree with you and I'm sorry you don't have a ticket, the 3 sections of "no mans land" is pathetic, absolutely laughable.

This is my point put all those who turn up without a ticket in one of those 3 sections at a greatly inflated price. They would be easier to police than wandering around Norwood or East Croydon.

This is going over old ground.
Your allocation was approx 2700, if its the polices decision or CPFC's, no one seems to know for sure.
There will be ticket checks on all roads to the ground, you can turn up without a ticket, but you wont get anywhere near the ground, end of.

Intrigued to know how many are planning to travel without a ticket?

If there were enough ticketless fans wandering around i wonder if the police would force the club to accept them in for pay-on-gate for the sake of peace on the streets . . .

You have gotta be crazy. I had a knife pulled on me with a gang organised attack in Selhurst. This is sarf London. They burn down buildings. Tottenham is worse but hell ...

I am not going. The place is horrid.

Quite a lot by all accounts, and certainly not many who post on here.
