Let say somebody joined AMS last week and applied for QPR ticket, would an AMS member who has been a member since the outset take priority?
I thought it was a first come first served thing

I too believe it to be a first come first served system.

Although don't people down for collecting rubbish at Withdean have some sort of initial priority for tickets ?

The ams is a sham to get yet more money from the fans+it does not serve no purpose, because if 6000 ams sign up who gets proirity?

everytime you go to a away game you should get a mark against your name and acumilate a points system, therefore having a priority system.

I thank you.

I agree that in an ideal world some sort of priority system for regular away fans would be great, but from the start the club maintained that would be a nightmare to administrate and could actually be unfairly exclusive, i.e. Northern based Albion fans not getting tickets for the few games in their region.

The current system DOES serve its basic purpose though, in that it provides the definitive database to draw away ticket ballots from when necessary. One that you can be struck from if you break the AMS conditions.

I imagine that already banned fans (if they were stupid enough to apply in their own name) would not be able to successfully register on the AMS.

In essence (and I think that this was the main reason the AMS came to be) what it does is convince the great and the good (FA, local council, media, whoever) that we are pro-active in keeping our own house in order. Especially after a few incidents which caused the club to come under the spotlight. Aldershot (as previously mentioned) was one. Another was excessive damage to the side stand at Leyton Orient (cup game if I remember correctly). BHAFC board received a bill for the damage from Mr. Hearn which was quite large.

I don't recall the club receiving a bill for the damage done to the Dell against Southampton, and that place was well and truely trashed by the time I left at the end of the 2000-2001 season ! :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

I remember a copper threatening to throw me out for having a seat in my hand. Until it was pointed out to him by a colleague that every Southampton fan had broken their seat, and was waving it above his/her head...
