How many different stands have watched Brighton home games from?

Define 8 Goldstone. I have watched games there in North, East, South and West, but 8?

It's a bit like the school photos of old when the camera traversed from left to right. When the naughty boy would be on the far left, then run to the middle, and then to the far right before the camera had finished taking the shot. Hey presto! Three images of naughty boy in the finished article. :wrong:

Goldstone ALL 7 (not sure where your 8th is): West Stand, Lego Stand, NW terrace, SW terrace, East terrace, South Stand, North Stand
Gillingham NONE
Withdean ALL 6: North, South, East (Pompey cup game), West family stand, West centre, West 'Argus' freebie stand
Amex 6: South, North, ESL, WSL, WS1901, WSU (not ESU)

So 19.

You might want to consult a COMPASS for the Withdean stands

For me:
Goldstone - South
Gillingham - Behind the goal (no idea what stand it was)
Withdean - North, South, West, North-East (family), East, Argus
Amex - WSU, WSL, North, South, ESU

13 then.

For the Rochdale game 72? I was on top of the portacabin for about 20 mins, does that count?

Watched Brighton v Liverpool 3-3 gamel from the roof of the n/w toilets:blush: Also sat in the dug out for a testimonial game for about ten minutes!:moo:

Also watched from my garden, frontroom, bedroom and sitting on the toilet whilst i lived in Goldstone lane:facepalm:

Even that is pushing it. To me there were two main stands, the permanant north (which is still there), the temporary south (which was dismantled when we left), and then the east. and west, behind the respective goals.

North Stand
East (Original Away End)
East (additional behind goal)
South East (Very Small)
Disabled Section Below 'timer' (is that a stand?)
South Stand
West Stand (Away End)

That's the portacabin!!! It took about thirty guys till they started bouncing and we were moved off and bizarrely then built a small podium with bricks just left lying around to see over the top of the back row

I'm guessing

North with old roof
North roofless
North with new roof
West Main stand
West Meccano stand
East
South old pre fire stand
South post fire stand

If so I have also done 8!

Thanks for the explanation of the Goldstone 8-

Goldstone-North,East terrace central (1981 vs Swansea aged 8) South stand,South West Terrace,West Stand.
Gillingham-Terrace behind goal and the newer side stand
Withdean-Old away end (famiy section),both sides North and ...mainly E block South
Amex-North,East upper and West Lower
