i'm thinking of sending a few back to Australia

My cousin who plays in a ska/rock band he can play it at half time in his gigs!! and he knows a few 2JJJ DJ's (BIG radio station in Sydney) international noterity can't hurt!!

Sydney siders can't believe we have to go through so many hoops to get a stadium - if they wanted one the lottery/govenment would probably fund it!!

I've done 2 sessions on 2JJJ during my 3 Aussie tours, tedebear. (Annandale Hotel, Sandringham, Rose Shamrock & Thistle...ring any bells?) JJJ is a brilliant station. Like Peel without the really 'difficult' bits - and all day!

No, the Weddoes split in '99. I've got everything they've ever done. Mick Thomas the singer does solo stuff now and also has a new band called The Sure Thing - he's a good mate of mine - I've done 1 Aussie and 2 UK tours with him, and he'll be back here again soon....you can see him at the Joogleberry or the Evening Star.
Went to see Paul Kelly at Komedia the other week too. Boring. Loads of sappy love songs.
I still rate the Annandale the day before the '93 Aussie General Election as my favourite gig I've ever done anywhere, ever...that's out of about 2500...I love Oz, for 2 or 3 weeks...preferably in the close season!
