He looks like Uncle Fester from the Adams Family, so I never can really take him seriously any more.

Mind you, thought he was dumped on at Chelsea.

I think you may upset Gus a bit if you do given the way Gus bear-hugged him last night when Ray W came down the tunnel before the game.

Gus broke off chatting to Suarez and Maxi to say hello. They then had a very animated (Gus not Ray), chat about golf!!!

He then went back to talk to the Liverpool players.

You mean the guy that captained Chelsea at 17/18 years then Man Utd, AC Milan, Paris St Germain and Glasgow Rangers and captained England ...... whatever happened to your scouting career anyway ??

1 FA Cup and a couple of Scottish titles, not quite the superstar you seem to be suggesting but if he was hero of yours good luck to you. I prefer flair players personally.

Nah Bridcutt is better, he'd have shone in that quite ordinary United team that Wilkins was in.

Much prefer him to Andy Gray at least everything is not the fault of the officials. Talks alot of sense as well

Hope so, but a big leap of faith from a double digit championship appearance player to an ex-England player.

In all seriousness, I think Ron Atkinson christened the term 'the crab' and as is normal it meant supporters, many that never saw him play would never offer any appreciation to his style of play.

It was a time when it was quite unusual to pass to another players feet especially if it meant not going forward, some of it was very exciting but much of it was dross.

Hoddle although a different type of player had similar 'marmite' problems and he too went abroad.

Bridcutt look a class act but not ready to elevate him just yet to Wilkins level.
