I couldn't believe how slow Henderson was last night. I would like to say SOMETHING positive about him. But I can't. :nono:

Send him back to Reading, and give McPhee (who looked a hanful last night) ot the Beach Boy a chance.

I agree that if we are going to be "persevering" with anybody, it should be one of our own players. I thought McPhee looked strong and lively when he came on - he and Knight could be a real handful.

absolutely spot

we should persevere with wilks, marney, beach boy and inparticular mcphee. this guy is taking away their chance to play for us- as fair as im concerend, either we get in a superstar (milner etc) or we give our youngsters a chance not some tin pot clubs!!

What a load of cock.

He is good in the air and made some useful flick ons.

His ball control is steadily improving.

He is a class penalty taker

He had 2 shots just past the post, and if they'd gone in you wouldn't be criticising him now.

He is only 21 and still learning his trade. What he needs is some confidence. Coppell obviously thinks he can do a job for us.

Marney and Wilkinson couldn't do a job for us last year and I'm not convince McPhee can either, although I would like to be proved wrong.

For a team with a tiny squad we aren't doing bad - get behind the 11 on the pitch. Coppell knows his stuff.

Surely the only way to gain confidence is to want to get involved.
Sorry but last night he made very little effort to challenge, OK so not everyone can be a Jones or an Oatway (i.e. running around like blue arsed flies !) but look as if you give a fcuk !
He aint got the enthusiasm for BHAFC simple as that

Strangely predictable that the opinion of Henderson is exactly the same as the Reading point of view. He's facking frustrating, and looks like he's absolute arse for about 80 minutes of a game. But looking at his amount of assists for us last season, he's more useful than on first appearances suggest.

He either has the touch of a rapist or of a Brazilian. He either misses headers by a mile or sets up a quality position ahead. He either looks like a donkey or a strong stalwart up front.

Basically he's erratic. And needs a goal from open play to sort him out. I still reckon his best place is not centre-forward...

Why when any one is critical on here towards a player who in this case-lets be honest he`s ordinary at best- do we get that sort of crap.Soon it will change to ``if you were a proper supporter you would sing your hearts out for the lads...........Then................Give all your money to dick Knight so we can buy players.................Then sell your daughters into prostitution so as to raise funds...............Then sell a human organ or two for the dosh................

Everyone is allowed a say and it does not make them a poor supporter because of it.The truth is Henderson looks like a carthorse.

I agree that it's time for Henderson to return to Reading. On the whole he has been very disappointing and it's time to give some of the youngsters a proper run out in the side. McPhee or the Beach Boy look a better option and let's face it they could not be any worse.

Hmmmmmmmm I thought Henderson was unlucky not to score a couple of goals last night.

I also thought he tried. I stood up and clapped him off.

Still this board is all about opinions! ???

As I have said all along, he did try after the first goal went in, and as this thread has developed I take on board what others have said about confidence, but he IS a profesional footballer, its what he gets paid to do.
If I turned up at work and scratched my bolloks for a few hours while others got stuck in I am sure they would have something to say.
Sorry but he is holding other players back who are more keen

I was very pleased to see him replaced by McPhee against Chesterfield. I think he is certainly one of the weaker links if not the weakest in our team at present.
