Done a Frexit, now in London
When’s the cloud seeing due to start or was the guardian lying?

I was seeing some clouds this morning, if that helps.

To the wider point we (the collective we) really need some rain. This dry spell is going from interesting to worrying rapidly, especially for farmers who need crops to grow at the moment.

Luckily we might get some showers late Saturday through to Monday - but that will be localised and possibly thundery. It's not enough, but will help where it falls.

Another point, it's been dry, but other than a couple of notable spell, quite cold, with NE / E winds down here.

Best spring of all time?

This spring has felt like summer.

It has been absolutely glorious, so far.
Dryest spring in 70 years (apparently).

It's felt like Summer has gate crashed one of the best seasons.

It's been absolutely horrible in full sun all day.

Roll on Autumn!

We need rain - have not had any of note for weeks. The river Wear is as low as I have seen it in the 9 years I have been here and the fields are parched.
Exactly!, but the noddy English, for who the sun is like catnip, can't seem to see that.

Yep - rivers very low here too, made worst by water extraction for thirsty agricultural crops.

Quite cold? 🤣

So, a while back I posted this. 11 days with one day of 'part sun'

I've lived up here for 27 years now. I genuinely don't think I have EVER seen a weather forecast like this for Cumbria.

Bit cheesed off with Tuesday 8th though - I've got a site visit that day......

Anyway - that astonishing forecast has now been surpassed.....

Can't see the sun?

This is such a brilliantly decisive post about the weather. 😂😂

I just hate people who enjoy the sunshine and don't complain after a few hours that it should be raining.😂

Bearing in mind we are in the late stage of autumn, this isn’t too bad at all😎
