How fanatical are you as an England fan

8 - During the Euro championships
0 - During tin pot bollox friendlies except...
7 - when we're playing Australia. A defeat to Australia is never acceptable.

I would have to say 10!!! The home friendlies can be irritating and have been awful at some of the grounds due to the local supporters being idiots.

When I am at games the England team get as much support from me as the Albion and sometimes I take it on a level further.

Can't say I have ever been that fanatical about England, have only seen them play once (v Turkey in about 1986 before they learnt how to play football and we beat them 5-0 at a stroll), probably won't bother to watch them again.

I would have to rate myself at no more than a 5 for England, less for friendlies and maybe a bit more for important games, perhaps a 7. The last time I got excited about an England team was Italia 90, think that was the last time we went into a tournament with a genuine chance of winning it, for me it was the best World Cup, a lot of teams peaked at the same time and any one of 4 or 5 could have won it.

obviously some games are more important and get the pulse racing more than others, just like the Albion.

my dad took me to first game at Wembley in 87 and we beat Turkey 8-0 - missed 2 goals because traffic ensured we got into ground 10 minutes late!
