How do you think we'd do if we got to the playoffs?

I can't say I would prefer to see us in the 2nd than the 1st next season, regardless of our unlikely prospects.
Agreed.

I find the prospect of a day out in Milton Keynes too distasteful for words.

Leeds, on the other hand, is a fine city - at least to those of us who were born there.

One thing MM has done is enhance our squad without buying anyone - all of a sudden we have around 5 former youth players who can get in the first team - and they will only improve.

If we do go up, maybe the kids will be ready this time - McPhee, Robinson, Virgo, ElAbd, Harding to name the obvious ones. And the rest of the squad will have seen what is required of them before. Chippy, Hart, Cullip etc will have spent a season in Div 1 & know what is needed

If we did go up, I'd fancy DK to have learnt from his mistakes. Firstly, he probably wouldn't need to find a replacement manager. :glare:
Secondly, I would imagine McGhee would be encouraged to pick up some first division signings on the cheap. Even though we'd be fighting a relegation battle, I suspect we're still a more enticing prospect than Walsall, Rotherham or Crewe so we really ought to be able to compete...

Despite what everybody else has said, I wouldn't fancy our chances against Swindon. We were lucky to get a point at home against them and lost away. In order to get to the final we would have to do what we did last time we got to the final and win the home leg by 3 clear goals.

But when we lost they were appalling!! Had we played for only 65 minutes the way we played for the first 15 we would have murdered them. The only team I 'fear' in the play offs are QPR

I think if we make the play-offs, we will win it, providing the semi first leg is at home. We will be beaten in the away leg, but we should score enough at home to take us to Cardiff.

The final itself is all down to nerve, I would like to think that we have the players to rise to the occasion and get us to Division 1 in style!

We have played our best football this season against the decent teams. I would love it...LOVE IT... if we got into the play-offs!

And I definitely would rather we have a season battling it out in Div1 than another uninspiring one in Div 2.

Come on you Seagulls!

Whilst we're on the subject, isn't it a pleasure to see that QPR appear to have blown it after all their gobbing off after our recent league defeat up there. :lolol:

They had James Milner when they were at Withdean. I wasn't there but didn't he have quite an influence on the game. He seems to be one of the reasons why Leeds may just be turning their season round ?

I'd fancy us against anyone in the playoffs, but then I expected us to beat Notts County in the last final.

Another season struggling in Div 1 will be a massive improvement on the crap that has been this season , so far
