but they appear to be the cream of the crap,time will tell if they can sustain success.

no. and if that is the case then i cant believe or understand it.

i like my music and have wildly eclectic tastes. but, coldpaly are just crap, and i hate the way they get worshipped like they're actually making anyhting worthwhile.

i sum it up by looking at who i know that likes coldplay. basically, its mums and dads and, of my mates or kids i know that like them, 99% are people who buy maybe 2 or 3 records a year. the others being travis, robbie williams, madonna or now this is what i call pop trance.

Always thought of them a bit dull and didnt watch all their set at Glasto last year but since listening to the albums I've changed my mind and don't mind them too much. Not shit, bollocks etc but not excellent fav band in the world either.
