....(if you make it at all, that is!)

I've recently reverted back to my trusty formula of:

milk first, then bit of hot water, tea bag, then rest of hot water ....letting stand for 3-5 of course.

:p

Milk first is abhorrent.

Tea bag in cup, sugar in cup, water in cup and leave to brew for 1 minute, milk, squeeze out the juice from the tea bag and done.

Spun Cuppa

Thanks Greens :(
Add one teaspoon of sugar, one Sainsburys Red Label tea bag and some milk to my one pint Match of the Day mug, add BOILING water, let sit for a little while, then stir the tea bag and remove WITHOUT squeezing, and ENJOY

Been on coffee since January, dying for a Tetleys. Bag in cup, add boiling water, squeeze bag, add milk.

We've got Liptons tea bags here, they're like piss.

Personally, I leave the milk to last. I have been served so many cups of tea with too much milk in that I prefer to be in control of the level put in.
You can always add more milk at the end but too much added at the beginning is irreversible.
I also hate the rapid dunking and removal of the tea bag ( with no time to brew )leaving an insipid and weak tasting cuppa.

I thought the Yankies had chucked all the Liptons into Boston Harbour. Thomson ships have PG Tips.

Marks and Sparks Breakfast blend. Teabag, sugar, boiling water, milk to taste as per normal people!
Milk first is devils work.

How do you stop the film forming on the top of your cuppa if you leave it to brew? Guess it's limescale? Will filtered water do the trick?

Does NOBODY use a teapot any more?

Not that I ever drink the stuff, but I am informed that I can brew up a perfect po.

Of course, a teapot is tops but if on one's lonesome and all that!

For ref' I have been makin' tea (in the cup) with tea bag first for a good few years now but have just taken to experimenting in search of the perfect brew.....and after listening to Absolute Radio's poser on the subject this morning!

Teabag in cup, water on, stir it up Lil' darling. Sit for 2 mins, quick stir, remove bag with a big squeeze, add milk, add sugar, stir. Drink, wait 10 mins, get another.
