I feel good now its all over, looking to the future, a new stadium another trophy.
Whoever the new manager is it will be ok, we have a great TEAM and a well run club.
DK has to take the glory for that, he has worked wonders with BHA and I have total faith that not only will he deliver yet another good manager, but also a new ground soon aswell.
Optimism everyone!

f***ed off, Steve Coppell, VD ****.

He's a f***ing prick, this time next season we will be in the same league as Reading, and we will have a decision about Falmer. All this Steve Coppell is a loyal man is utter bollocks, hes jumped ship after 3 months at the first possible opportunity. The least he could have done was stayed with us till the end of his contract, waited for our decision about Falmer.

And as for Madjeski, hypocritical ****. So much for not poaching another teams manager. Even though it was all above-board and "correct" he's still poached our manager and left us up shit-creek. The only time i want our club to have ANYTHING to do with Reading in the near future is too shit all over them at their place next year. If they try to buy ONE more of our players or managers i will personally stab Madjeski in the nuts myself.

AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

I don't hate SC as he has done what anyone else would do in his position (unless they were Brighton through and through). Not too fussed on Reading at the moment for their hypocracy.

Generally in bad mood today because of one sole git.

SC looks after number 1 like every other manager.

I'd love to see him manage again in the Premiership ( not with Palace obviously ), but as with Zamora and Tottenham, you have to say that by going to Reading he has really sold himself short.

So he's left us in 1st place, and the way we've been playing ( not to our full strength ) I reckon we could carry on with no manager and finish with a chance of the play-offs, if not better.

From what I've heard, we had sounded out a replacement for SC when Pardew moved to West Ham. No idea who, but I'm sure DK won't be blustering about the appointment until he's certain he's got his man.

Got to say cheerio Steve, but we won't take any prisoners when we play your team next year !

Low. I know I shouldn't have done it, but I allowed optimism to creep in, that the fact that it was taking so long meant he may turn them down. Managers come and go, I had no particular warm fuzzy feelings for Coppell, but I do rate him as a manager and I fear for the quality available to Knight at the moment.

It's also just a reminder that the lack of a stadium is killing us - the Falmer decision is a future or death. When we constantly lose managers who use the facilities as an excuse to bugger off, it just makes me feel pessimistic.

It also (and I know this is naive and shouldn't happen to a grown man) yet again pisses me off with a demonstration that the only people in football who are NOT mercenary are the fans.

he took so long to actually go i dont feel anything now. the fact that were top of the league is a bonus.

we're a championship medal on {insert name here}'s CV which makes me feel quite good.

were safe in DK's hands- i'm quite impressed that he got £230 000 compensation- more than enough to attract a good manager and give 'em a bit of money to spend.:clap2:

I was pissed off when it first started but it became so blindingly obvious he was going that I'm not really bothered/surprised now. Just looking forward to hopefully a quality appointment and a championship!
