Seriously though, I think a lot of people on here accept that last night the performance was perhaps not what you want but the result was by no means terrible. I would rather draw that sort of game 0-0 than 2-2, for example, keep the clean sheet and the whole back 5 get a confidence boost going into a big game on Saturday. Nothing wrong with getting points on the road, far better than losing and if we beat Bolton on saturday then it'll look very valuable. Maybe there aren't many people wading into the misery threads to repeat such sentiments because they'll be shot down all over the place and it's a bit boring after a while.

The season did NOT end at full time last night!

Yeah, I've taken breaks from NSC in the past, longest was about four/five months. There are times when you just think 'enough!'

totally agree - I "got over myself" by starting a thread moaning about the moaners (as HiToni was happy to point out to me). Worked for now but seriously tempted to go on the offensive - when I first spotted this thread I hoped it might have been started by Withdean Wanderer or one of that ilk but no such luck.

Take that fella called Vinchente - real sick note, doesn't want to play for us, and checking the programme notes from Saturday the highlight of his lacklustre career is winning La Liga and playing at Euro 2004, his biggest disappointment losing in the European Champions' League final and the most difficult opponent he's faced is some non-entity called Lionel Messy. We must obviously be crap if we have the likes of him in our squad. Bring back Michael Mahoney-Johnson and Ashley Neal!

you can always use the ignore button
I have and my ignore list is moderate and if you find it getting rather large then you can peruse it and take a few who might just have something sensible to say off the list.
some people just have that negative vibe or really have it in for some player or another
