I know quite a few people that have had trials at teams such as Portsmouth, Southampton, Palace, Chelsea, Arsenal and haven't been noticed by Brighton, nothing has happened with their careers though, it happens.

Ah, another of those famous NSC facts. March was NOT at Albion before signing for them in December 2011.

Just checked and you are right, his dad was released as an apprentice in the 80's though, so maybe that is where the misunderstanding has come from.

Charlton, Chelsea and other clubs operate in Sussex, especially in the North of the County. The club can't affect that - they don't have the right of a monopoly.

And nor do the big clubs either. Just need to see how many of the Man Utd players kids are at the Man City academy for proof of that.

Absolute ****ing disgraceful we miss things like this.
Also things like Albion in the Community, why are Charlton Athletic doing and have been doing for years Coaching for kids in towns like Crowborough etc !!
It should be Albion desperate to get in on the kids round Sussex spotting young talent at an early age.
I think our scouts too are no where near as good as some people think they are.

You're right! We should hire some local thugs to go around and force these clubs to stop operating on our patch.

Maybe he was scouted, had a trial and our management didn't think he was good enough ? We don't know he's been 'missed'.......
