Too many posts to see if this has been answered but how did Bradford raise their 2.5 mill in a few months.

Was it supporter led fund raisers or some hefty donations from individuals/companies?

(and I'm not implying a mystery investor. its a genuine question)

As far as I am aware it was supporter led fund raising and everyone just giving what they could.

They were in more desperate means than us because without it they couldn't have played at Valley Parade at all this season.

I think a lot of people are getting hung up about the figures of £100 and £250.

If you can only afford a fiver then give a fiver or even a quid. It all adds up and will help the club through the inquiry to when we get the go ahead.

If you don't want to give then fair enough, don't, but all the little contributions add up as the Bradford fans found out.

There was an initiative for all supporters to buy something from the club shop (as per Safeway's suggestion). I think they nearly cleared out their stock.

It wasn't in one big donation, but they had thousands of people giving something.

My guess is that Dick and Martin saw what Bradford did and thought "we could do that."

I think that its great that Bradford did riase the money.

As the amounts are similar I think that it would be worth some investigation so we can copy their best ideas.

I will investigate but many hands make light work as they say!
