I have around 500 at the last count. Still not enough.

Punk, indie, hip-hop, dance music, 60's and some modern stuff.

I actually do not care if it was the left, right, green or aliens that were offended, somebody did not like a cartoon image. Good fun you got all uppity about criticism of the woke/PC/ offended though, speaks volumes

The volume was louder by the fact you chose to mis-appropriate the blame to woke/PC culture.

Such a tit. :D

About 600 albums, plus 1000s of CDs. And almost everything I listen to now is a stream

Stupidity got rid of most of mine when I moved abroad in the mid 80s thinking that they would be worthless with the CD taking over.

Kept a few I really treasured including a dozen Northern Soul singles which I bet are quite rare nowadays, a couple I picked up when I went to a Wigan Casino all-nighter. Currently buried in my loft. Think I should dig them out every so often.

I love my vinyl and keep buying it. I find I go through cycles of listening to it all the time and then periods of streaming. I am in the middle of a streaming cycle at the moment as I made playlists for the car.

On the Border
It's growing again following a stagnant period. Although it's expensive to grow with new vinyl Albums pushing £35

Is Axl Rose still with them?

I bloody hope so - he was bang on form, a few years ago. In fact, he was probably better than I've seen him since the 90's...Slash was great, too.

Yeah me too. what streaming service do you use. I am thinking of moving from Spotify.

Joined a family member's Apple plan a few years back, and still with them: it has most things I want to listen to. I'm not really an expert on comparing the different services, but I hear that Spotify is better for podcasts.

Always play at a loud volume, it’s G n ****in’ R ! punk:

Absolutely! A decade earlier or so before G n’R I did the same with Led Zep. Mrs.Punal (then Miss!) and I lived in a flat, with a balcony, in Hove. When the mood took us I would position the speakers on the balcony, took two chairs, a bottle of wine and some beers to the other side of the road. Miss P and me would then indulge in the booze, make ourselves comfortable and listen to ‘When the Levee Breaks’ at full blast’. Wonderful!

The neighbours all breathed a sigh of relief when we left!

Far too many for the space I have, I need to thin them out or get more storage. I guess around 300. Loads of duplicates, I bought a record cleaner which has revived some of the older 60’s and 70’s albums but some are too far gone. Also got a whole cabinet of CD’s.

A grand total of 1. A rather quirky ditty from 1983 by a bunch of blokes who can't sing.

Sussex, by the sea
I had a clear out a few yars ago and got down to about 800 LP's and 500 singles, but is crept up again.

Also recycled hundreds of CD's.

120 000 is a lot, a lifes work in the industry nd some.

I like to think with about 1000 odd its very much stuff I like and do listen to

120 000 LPS is 10 years non stop listening!

Probably about 1000 vinyl. Never got into CD's although the kids have introduced me to streaming which is great for when I'm in the car.

I have TWO pieces of vinyl after emigrating a few years back.

Quality music in rare condition with classic covers.

Appetite for Destruction, Guns and Roses - the original release with the cover that was changed due to criticism from what was to become known as the the PC brigade/woke culture or forever offended types.

Boys in the old Brighton Blue, BHAFC FA Cup Squad 1983

I have the original cover - this had nothing to do with PC Brigade / being woke - it showed a copy of a painting that depicted a rape scene and can’t be defended. I’m sure there was a deep meaning behind the original painting before you get defensive but it was a rape ffs
