FIFA are frankly without shame. No matter what evidence is revealed by newspapers, the BBC or even by their own internal " investigations " they just carry on plodding along in their own little world of free lunches and travel etc etc.
While I completely agree with your first point, I think you've under-estimated the level of their bribes.

The only way to get to FIFA is to actively target/boycott their sponsors via direct and social media campaigns. So, if the yank lawyer currently 'investigating' claims of corruption within FIFA, comes up with a whitewash of a report, 'don't buy coke/Adidas/McDonald's, etc until, for example, 2020 vote re-run' campaigns are launched with direct appeals to the sponsors (and social media campaigns) to 'persuade' FIFA to change.

I thoroughly recommend you read Andrew Jennings' book Foul! The Secret World of FIFA: Bribes, Vote Rigging & Ticket Scandals if, by some miracle, you're one of the few remaining individuals who doesn't think Sepp Blatter is corrupt.

It's an old'un but a good'un.
