Got the 628 from HH - half comes from brighton. Absolutely fine so far, approaching London bridge on time.

The 6.05 from Lewes arrived on time at LB this morning and the conductor came over the tannoy with the most sincere apology explaining how 'sorry he was that the service yesterday was so poor' and he was 'utterly embarrassed'.
Actually he had a very high voice, maybe he was a she.

No real problems this morning, we were quite slow all the way up to town, but only about 15 mins late by the time we got to London Bridge - though we didn't stop at Haywards Heath for 10 mins like we normally do,

As long as there's no snow this afternoon, there shouldn't be a problem getting home. If I get stuck at home tomorrow, though, I won't be too disappointed.

Try checking the National Rail website,
They might have more of an idea the NSC !!

you'd think so wouldnt you? unfourtunatly, the National Rail site only offers the target service, while NSC can relay the current status and quality of the service.

I've heard the gas leak in France is going to cause severe delays at both Victoria and Bridge - the smell has caused a fire on board a Southern Train coming into Victoria and signalling problems at 3 Bridges - a bus replacement service will run from 3 bridges to Brighton, gasmasks will be provided at the price of £440, up from it's original price of £90 in 2012

Nothing on the Southern site, there was an issue at Hassocks, but that seems to be cleared.. I'm heading out of London in about half an hour, and hoping no issues.

Heavy snow has started up in hove, not settling at the moment. fingers crossed.

Cancelled trip to London on this basis though.
